I-95 South

So I've been doing a lot of traveling this past few months. I drove to Florida for one thing. I am a big fan of road trips and love getting to see more of my country, so this was a great trip for me to take. Where I am from (Connecticut) I-95 is a major highway...three to four lanes, traffic, major cities all around me, so I get a big kick out of driving on I-95 in the Carolina's. There are big chuncks of it that are incredibly remote (at least for a Yankee). One stretch in particular was particularly riveting for me. The southbound side of the road was seperated from the north by Pine trees and more pine trees crowded the western side of the road. There were only two lanes and no shoulders. Few if any cars were around me and the sun was setting. Beautiful! This piece is about 16" x 20", Oil on paper.
